I've just been to the Royal Festival Hall to view the winners of the World Press Photo 09 competition and was very impressed, these photos in particular I think are amazing by Vincent Laforet.

Rankin has taken the photo of a famous musician or visual artist and then the artist has destroyed the photo, or recreated it in their style....I especially like this one of Debbie Harry, although it makes me a bit uncomfortable...but I like that it makes me feel like that....provoking. Think it's the stitching

I have recently started subscribing to Hotshoe magazine, I discovered it a few while ago and I really think it's a brilliant magazine. In the latest issue I was particularly interested in Zed Nelson's work, especially the interview with him.
