Benjamin Huseby

I quite like this by Benjamin Huseby, I like how there's a figure behind the model, quite unusual and a bit weird, but in a good way.

The Story of Science: Power, Proof and Passion

These were some of the first photos ever published, they are from Darwin's book The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals. I saw these on The Story of Science; Power, Proof and Passion on BBC 2, which I have just watched and thought was brilliant. Had to put it on my blog. Looks as the question of 'who we are', incredibly fascinating, it had everything in that I love watching... history, psychology, photography, art... everything.

It also reminded me of an exhibition I went to at The Wellcome Collection about Identity, I think it's still on now, and also The Medicine Man, which is also there. I was quite blown away by this exhibition, it doesn't do it justice on their website http://www.wellcomecollection.org/whats-on/exhibitions/medicine-man.aspx but the whole exhibition was really well executed, very good work by the graphic designers who were Kerr|Noble.
