Ron Gilad from the series Spaces etc via HUH Magazine
Tel-Aviv-born artist Ron Gilad who now lives in New York, plays with form and functionality to produce objects that "combine material wit with aesthetic play." Just like his work, Gilad himself sits on the fence between designer and artist - some of his pieces are one-offs, some are limited editions, and others are mass produced production pieces, enabling them to reside in both public and private collections worldwide.
